All eating when not feeling hunger is emotional. It can be motivated by boredom, anxiety, stress, loneliness, feeling unloved, pleasure and a list of many other emotions and feelings. Hypnotherapy for weight loss addresses these emotions and feelings very effectively.
Programmes that do not take a number of these factors into consideration are going to have only limited success. Limited in either the amount of weight you lose or how long you can keep it off. Controlling your weight is a matter of an emotional change, which is where hypnotherapy for weight loss comes in.
Sticking to a very restricted diet for several weeks or months can be very difficult, no matter how motivated you are. Most diets require a limited number of calories, which often lead to battles with hunger throughout the day. Other diets require that you eat only certain foods, which can lead to significant boredom after a short period of time. It is no wonder that many people fail when it comes to dieting.
Diets often fail because people rely on sheer determination and willpower. Willpower is something you exert consciously. When you attempt to use willpower you are making a conscious decision to control your behaviour.
There is normally a drive to why people overeat, and by using hypnotherapy we can identify that drive and resolve that drive. We can also ask the subconscious to modify your lifestyle without undue stresses or distress. Factors such as old behaviours, feelings and emotions, habits and exercise level can be altered during the hypnotic process. Diet programmes alone are unable to do this. Even diet programmes that include exercise programmes are not going to work for most people in the long run.
